Everything's connected!

It's important to remember that our thoughts, emotions, feelings and actions are all interconnected.

For example, if I notice a tension in my stomach I might think I’m about to have a panic attack. As I think more about panic I might notice that I’m beginning to feel afraid, which makes me feel more tense and shaky. I may begin to tremble, so I try to tense my muscles to stop myself shaking. This makes me more tense and even more shaky, which makes me think there’s something seriously wrong with me, and so convinces me that I’m about to panic.

The good news is that as my behaviour, my feelings, emotions and thoughts are all interconnected, as I change one of them, I start to change them all.
